We are searching for a contractor for a HR Manager replacement role
About the Role
Oversee full-spectrum HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training & development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and HR administration for around 50–80 staff (operations, technical, maintenance, admin, etc.).
Implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to an industrial plant setting, ensuring alignment with company goals and statutory requirements (Employment Ordinance, Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance, etc.).
Drive employee engagement, team building, and organizational culture initiatives to promote safety, sustainability values, and high performance
Manage performance appraisal systems, career development plans, succession planning, and training programs (including technical/safety certifications).
Handle employee relations matters, conflict resolution, disciplinary/grievance procedures, and maintain harmonious labor relations.
Prepare HR reports, manpower planning, budgeting, and analytics to support senior management decision-making.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant labor laws, environmental regulations (as they relate to workforce), and company EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
At least 8–10 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
Prior experience in industrial/manufacturing, utilities, or shift-based operations is highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws, MPF regulations, and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & spoken English and Chinese — Cantonese & Mandarin an advantage).
Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic plant environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.
